Inserting JPEG images-Avoiding image cropping using Slide Show

Using Powerpoint 2003, directly created slides no problem. When insert from a
JPG file, the picture is only partially displayed when using slide show. Its
worse with portrait pics

Hi,

I guess you should first go to the Help menu and "Check for Updates". The
check you ahve the latest video drivers. Also, the part in this link about
hardware accelleration may help:

Boris,

your pictures are too large. If a portion of the picture is in the grey area
around the slide, this part will not show. Click on a picture and use one of
those white handles in the corner to resize your picture until it fits into
your slide. Or, better, resize them in an image editing program before you
insert them into your presentation.
