Inserting item in a forwarding/replying email

I used to use this feature of Inserting other emails as Items a lot in
Outlook 2000. I just updated to Outlook 2003... Now when I open an email
under the Insert menu I do see "Item" but it is grayed out and when I say
replay/forward I do not see this selection of Item under Insert menu.
Anybody know why?

No I did not or at least I don't remember... I found a way to do it
though... by dragging and droping the email in the forwarding email...

If you are using Word as the editor, the Insert->item does not display.
Only if using the native Outlook editor do you have the option of inserting
Outlook items.
