I want to insert a hyperlink into a Powerpoint presentation but I get the
error message 'Cannot find Internet server or Proxy Server'. I have no idea
what to do. Any help gratefully received.

Roy, where have you make your hyperlink link to? the Internet or another
presentation?
if you want to make your hyperlink link to the internet, first may sure your
have connect to the internet.

Actually, if you know the link you can just type it in. You only need to be
connected to go to the linked item.

Roy,
Can you provide a few more details on what you are doing? Do you get the
error when you are adding the hyperlink or when you are trying to use it?
Which version of PPT? We can't see what you see, so the more details you
provide, the better we can help you.

I am trying to link to the internet. The error message comes up when I try
to use the hyperlink. I was definitely connected to the internet at the time.

Thanks
Roy

Roy,
I suggest that you redo the hyperlink this way(first, you have to remove the
former hyperlink.):
high light some text or an image, right click, select "Hyperlink", type the
address in the address text box and press "OK".
hope this would help!

Are you trying to connect to a secure server or location? If so, you may
need to log in to the site first, then run your PPT. If that isn't the case,
can you share the link so that one of us can try it?

Roy,

Can you tell us the URL you're linking to? Someone else can give it a try that
way.
