Inserting hyperlinks in a Word document produces field codes

CJ

1. I open a new Word document (Office 2007).
2. I insert a hyperlink and type:
"Text to display:" = Test
"Address:" = www.yahoo.com
3. I press Okay
4. The line on my document reads as follows:
"{HYPERLINK "www.yahoo.com"}
5. I expected: "Test"

Does this for TOCs as well. I obviously set something inadvertently and
can't find how to undo it.

Any help is appreciated.

Press Alt+F9 to toggle between field codes (what you see) and field results.
