Hi,

Is there any special trick for inserting a guid value into a "Replication
ID" field?
I'm trying to do this using ADO:

con.execute "INSERT INTO my-table (guid) VALUES ('" & guidvar & "');"

.... guidvar is a guid string "{88CF3E3D-E1AF-4586-8856-2CB3E6E48267}".
I allways get the error 80040E14 (Sintax Error in INSERT INTO statement).

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance,
rusga

Solved.
Well, it seems that table names can't have hyphens in them.

They can, but you'd need square brackets around the name (INSERT INTO
[my-table] etc.)

What about if you put square brackets aroudn the table name?

con.execute "INSERT INTO [my-table] (guid) VALUES ('" & guidvar & "');"
