I would like to use an image on a form that has a transparent background
..gif format. But Access will always show a matt background. Is there a way
to do this?

You can insert the image into an MS WOrd doc and then copy and paste
from WOrd to Access.
Alternatively see:
http://www.lebans.com/transparent.htm
Transparent.zip is a database containing functions to allow for the
conversion of Bitmap, Gif, Jpeg, Enhanced Metafile and Metafile to an
Enhanced Metafile format supporting Transparent backgrounds.
