If i have a microsoft word document, - you can insert pictures from your
hardrive in, and they show.

but can you insert live hosted pictures from the net? (by using the
source link of that image) on that word document/page, and the Live
picture wil show? - obviously appearing when the document is online...

i have tried but cant do so, do you know if this can be done ?

(and i dont wank a url attaced to a desktop image in the document, as
this will just provide an image hoverlink to that url) - I want the
image to be displayed + hosted...

can it be done? would you mind trying to see if you can do it/ a small
trial please

and are you certain it can be done? if so, how?

yes, it can be done.

Basically, you use the same dialog as when you insert a picture from
your HD, insert it "as link," and enter the full URL
(http://www.yourserver.com/pathtopicture/yourpicture.gif) in the dialog.

Word usually needs a kind of trigger to update the picture. It usually
does this on opening the document, or when you hit F9 while the picture
is in the selection.

If you have further questions, post back and be sure to mention your
version of Word.
