insert multiple photos to create a slide show

Hi there,
I am wanting to create a photo slide show using powerpoint. Is it possible
to insert a number of photos ( one photo on each slide), without having to
'insert new slide', ' insert picture from file', for each individual photo
slide.

Is there a way of inserting all the required photos from the file on my
computer onto individual slides, all at once??
