Insert File and Path Name

Word 2007. Where did it go? I want to insert the file path name of my
document but can't find it. In a prior version of Word it was an auto text
entry....but 2007 doesn't seem to have auto text either!

Assuming that you want to put it in the footer, on the Insert Tab of the
Ribbon, click on the Footer item in the Header & Footer section of the
Ribbon and then probably on the Plain item and then when the Header & Footer
Design tab appears, click on the Quick Parts item in the Insert section of
the Ribbon and then on Fields and locate the FileName field, then click on
Field codes and then on Options and then on Field Specific Switches and add
the \p to the field.

It's probably quicker to just access the Footer Pane and type Filename \p,
then select it and press Ctrl +F9 to enclose it in field delimiters {
Filename \p } and then press Alt+F9 to toggle off the display of field
codes.
