Insert a blank row into the middle of a table rather than the end

I need to be able to insert a row of data into the middle of a table so I can
copy values from the previous row. Is it possible in Access?

Sorry. No. It's not a spreadsheet. However, if you create a query from
this table, then use this query as the Record Source for a form, you can
navigate to the record on this form you want to copy, then press the "record
selector" on the left side of the form, then press <CTRL><C> to copy the
record, then press the "new record" button on the record navigation buttons,
then press <CTRL><C> to paste it. Data entry really should be done with a
form, not the table's data sheet, because you can validate the data through
events and control the user's navigation through the data.

For all practical purposes, "No".

Tables are buckets of data that may or may not appear in the order
you'd like. That being said, tables are *not* for the presentation or
direct manipulation of your data. Use forms instead..

Visit www.mvps.org and look for "Copying data from previous record
...."

Tables don't have middles. The are more like piles index cards with
related data on each line (field). There is no specific order the the pile,
it may appear to stay in order and for no apparent reason change order next
week. Each pile of index cards (tables) may be related to other piles.

Access is not just a fancy spreadsheet. It works with accesses and
stores data totally different.
