Input format Scientific

Good Morning,

I have a tab delimited file that has a column of data names. This
column has names line 1.3E01. As you can imagine, Excel is recognizing
them as scientific notation. I want excel to import them as a name. Is
there any way to do this before the data is imported?

Are you importing via File|open?

If yes, you can specify that this field be treated as text in the text to
columns wizard.
