Initialization or re start Vista

I have a windows vista tm business in my hp pavilion serie 2000. It does not
happen often, but I'm affraid it becomes a problem. Sometimes when I start or
re start the computer, the vista goes till the screem "wellcome vista" after
that it becomes black with the mouse arrow working only, but nothing happens
besides that. So, then I must re boot the computer directly on the key botton
and the normal message says "you have not turn off your computer correctly
bla bla"", but I had no alternative..
Do you have any idea what it is ??
thanks.

completely normal behavior with vista just patiently wait for a minute or
two.... your startup programs needs to initialize..

Thanks AJ Babao,

If you say it is normal that's fine, but today, for instance, the Vista did
not enter in again. I waited 5 mins than re started again. Only hope that it
did not become a problem and start to become more frequently.

Thanks. Sérgio
