Initial Start up

When I switch my PC on it shows the Intel Procesor logo on the left hand side
of the screen. It then takes about 10 minutes before windows xp begins, can
any one help.
 
is this something new?

what changes have yuo made recently?

Use system restore to set back a couple days when computer worked fine.
