ini files

can someone tells me how to open the ini files? I have XP Home and I did it
once but just can't remember how to do it?
I want to look at the sys.ini, win.ini etc.

the safest way is to go to START / RUN then type "msconfig"
there's a tab for system.ini and win.ini and boot.ini

By default double-clicking an ini file should open it in Notepad
