Inherited from a base form

I have a base form, there a textbox on it, I set the textbox to protected.

The properties of the textbox can't be modified when I inherited a form from
the base form.





I want to modified some properties of the textbox of the inherited form, how
can I do it?
 
Nah, you don't need to do that.

When you say the properties "can't be modified" on the inherited form, what
exactly do you mean? In the form designer?
