My home compouter seems to be infected by a new virus that
keeps setting my home page to "about:blank" and installing
shortcuts on my desktop. Regardless of how many times I
delete these shortcuts and reset my homepage they keep
changing on me.

I have downloaded all the available patches from the
microsoft web site and from my virus protection software
suppplier but nothing has made a dent in the problem. Any
ideas?

Hi

Try these programs to check for any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:
