Indication of page loading

The small blue line indicating the progress of a page loading does not show up anymore on the bottom of my screen. How can this be turned on again?

Try this:

Open Windows Explorer and enable View>Status Bar. Then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders.' This method will enable the Status Bar in Internet Explorer as well. Alternatively you enable the Status Bar each time you open IE by going to View>Status Bar.
