Help! I am a writer producing books. I have always created large indexes
using multiple files. I “Mark Entry†manually to mark everything I want in
the index, then hit “Insert Index†to create it. It has always worked
flawlessly. Now, when I tell it (Word 2007) to “Insert Index,†it gives me an
initial error message saying: !This file could not be found. Then, a final
error message saying “No Index Entries Found.†Has something changed? What am
I doing or not doing?

what is your approach to creating an index based on XE fields in
different files? ISTR this could only be done by use of RD fields?
