Indexing Outlook 2007

I can't perform an e-mail search of any of my mailboxes. The Indexing status
numbers keep changing, getting higher, despite the program running. I
attempted a rebuild, which only seemed to make matters worse, now indexing
numbers have multiplied.

Is there some way to fix the indexing issue? I use XP Professional and
Outlook 2007/Office 2007.

Indexing will calm down in a few days. Leave your computer on 24 hrs a day
until complete. It is well worth the wait. You will find what you are
looking for before you can type the entire word.

I have the same problem. I've tried leaving my computer on for a few weeks,
it doesn't solve the problem. The Vista indexing completes in a few hours -
the Outlook one never seems to complete.
