I index my entire "Documents" folder tree; I've double-checked that.
However, there's one subfolder in it that while also indexed will not yield
any hit results when I do a search from within that folder. I can search for
an item located in that folder via, say, the Start menu, or Explorer's
search field in any other folder, but if I'm viewing this one folder, the
search never finds anything I'm looking for. This is the only folder I've
found that acts this way.
Yet it didn't start doing this until recently; before then, I'd searched in
that folder many dozens of times. And again, if I start the search anywhere
else, the items are found instantly.
How could this happen and what can I do?
