Index Issues

Hello,

I am sure many of you have seen my questions and postings about Linking two
subforms in a main form. I finally got it working.

HOWEVER, when I go to add a record (it displays a blank record and I can
fill in what I need to), when I close or try to go to a different employee, I
get that error about duplicating data and to change the index and everything.
I am not sure whats going on.

I have been runing this database for a few months now, and now that I can
link two subforms together in a main form, it is giving me this error.

Any suggestions? Thank you very much!

Fix-

I removed the subforms and put everything back to its normal state. Now
that is back to the way I had it, the forms still don't work in letting me
add records. I think it is a corruption issues. I removed the forms, and
added them again, but again, there were primary key and index issues
(duplicate data). Fortunately, I backup my work often and make copies. I
pulled up my previous backup, changed things to make my subforms linked, and
all is well.

I hope that this may help someone. I kind of answered my own question
(whilst reading many things on the internet) Amazing!

Sorry, but I didn't record all of your previous messages, and I don't really
have time to do a Google Groups search for all your posts on the subject.

What are the Recordsources of these forms?
What are the tables involved, their primary keys, their relationships?
How did you end up linking them?
How specifically are you adding the record, in particular how are you setting
each table's Primary Key?
What specific error message are you getting?
