Hello, All!
I have already removed `Indexing service' for all my drives and uninstalled
from `Add remove programs'. When I run `Chkdsk C: /v ' in dos window
displays the following error message.

CHKDSK is verifying security describtors (stage 3 of 3)...
Cleaning up 2 unused index entries from index $SII of file 9.

Even a `Chkdsk C: /f ' running at boot time did not clear the error message.
How to clear the Index entries completely?

With best regards, Brock. E-mail: (e-mail address removed)

Wow. These are two vastly different things. Index Service is a piece of OS
software that can build a database of your files to make searches much
quicker (http://www.theeldergeek.com/indexing_service.htm)

The latter indexes are data written by the OS to your hard drive and are
related to your file directory structure.
