info that you think that you had deleted the cookies from your
computer. is there away to delete the index.bat file? i have tried to
rename it, change it, send it to another program to open it and tried
to delete it but no luck. one program that i had downloaded said that
it replaced the spyware aspect of the index.bat file and replaces it
with empty cookies. well i tried it and sure as hell, the damn
index.bat program is still in my computer. windows won't let me
delete it because of some bull that it is a program file which is
using other programs so it can not be deleted. but i know, where
there is a will, there is away.

Easiest way is to log on with the default administrator account and delete
those files in the Documents and Settings\<user name> folder for your
account.
If you are using XP Pro, simply press CTRL+ALT+DEL at the login screen to
make the administrator account appear.
If you are using XP Home, you will need to boot to Safe Mode to lo on with
this account.
