increase the size of fonts, etc

I am trying to increase the size of fonts, windows, etc.
For example, when I'm online, the webpages are too small
and hard to read. On the other computer in the house,
everything is larger, less words on the page. Another
example is Solitaire. The cards are too small. The
window only takes up half the screen.

Try control panel/display/settings/advanced/general tab - go to dpi
settings.
You'll see the option to change the size of the fonts to large or to
custom (you can go partway between regular font size for the resolution
or as large as you would like.

The only thing you need to be aware of is that if the fonts are too
large, some programs wont display well on the screen. If that happens,
use the custom setting and reduce the size little by little until you
find a compromise you can live with and "see" with.
