Control Panel

Advanced tab
[Performance Options...]
[Change...]
Maximum registry size

The default "Maximum" is 64MB. If you're exceeding that,
I'd say your registry could use a good cleaning.

Hi Tommy - You don't state your OS, but I assume since you're posting in
this Newsgroup that you have some version of Win2k. These directions are
for that OS. I strongly advise you not to change anything else along the
way while you follow these directions unless you are VERY SURE about what
you're doing

Right click on MyComputer then select Properties. Now click on Performance
Options and then on the Change button in the Virtual Memory section. On the
Virtual Memory page at the bottom you'll see a section called Registry Size.
It shows your current Registry usage and the current maximum allowed. Set
that maximum to a value that is approximately 25% - 40% larger than your
current usage figure (use 40% unless you're limited in disk space). For
example, if your current size is 40MB, then set the maximum to about 55MB.

See if that clears up the warning message.
