Hello,

We have several word documents which have strage behaviour with images.
Images are from digicam so I guess the originals are jpeg pics.

If these documents are opened with Word (we have 2002 SP3) all photos are
shown as negative images. If these same files are opened on the same
computer via Internet Explorer photos are displayed correctly. So I guess
this is a Word setting or something like that???

Thanks

This fix does not solve this issue.

In our case the incoccertly displayed images are not flipped.Instead they
appear as film negatives => All colours look like the pic is viewed trough
an infrared camera or similar...

Thanks for the input but this in not the case. These docs contain photographs
of buildings. So they are full colour pics.

Strangest thing is that if I open the same doc with IE the pictures are
displayed correctly. Haven't seen this before...

William, it's probably too simple but just a hunch: could it be that the
document opens with Ctrl-A (select all) activated? Then all the
pictures and text display inversed ...

Actually seems that CRTL+A has got something to do here!

I tested to open these with CTRL+A enabled and (atleast some) images were
displayed OK. Then thied it second time and word started crashing...

I got the files from one of our employees on CD. Any idea what could cause
this in the first place???

Thanks
