Incorrect User Name Shown in Documents & Settings Folder

I had one user account for my PC called Me and You. I gave
that account the new name "English" and created an
additional account "Chinese" because my wife is Chinese
and she wanted to use Chinese software on the PC. I then
re-named "Chinese" to "Darling Girl".

When I look at Documents and Settings I see only the
original two names "Me and You" and "Chinese".

Within the "Chinese" folder I see "Darling Girl's
Documents"

Within the "Me and You" folder I see just My Documents,
not "English's Documents".

Why did XP not rename these directories correctly and how
can I rectify this problem ?

There is no easy way to rename those system files.
Create new accounts with the name you want then copy the data from old
to new account:

Once you are sure all is OK, old profile may be safely deleted.
