I have two 512mb sticks and a 128 mb stick installed on my motherboard.
When I start the computer up, the ram check displays the correct amount, but
windows only displays 256 mb of ram. Does anyone have suggestion to why
this discrepency exsists?

Thanks in advance
Mike

This is almost certainly a well established bug in System info. Look in
Control Panel - System - General page, The figure at the bottom is what
windows is really seeing
