inconsistent performance

I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0. I have cipher strength
of 128 bit. Sometimes when I surf, I will lose my ability
to open pages, files and I can't print.

When I go check (About Internet Explorer), all the
information is gone... It doesn't list
the version of Internet Explorer, the cipher strength,
anything.

I reboot the computer, Explorer works, the version, cipher
strength etc is there and after a few minutes...gone again.

Appreciate any advice!

Please:
1. Make sure you have a virus scanner installed and the latest virus
signatures. Do a complete system virus scan.
2. Run a third-party spyware/adware removal application.
3. Remove any suspect applications from Add/Remove programs.
4. Uninstall
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;293907) and
re-install IE6sp1+all critical updates from Windows Update.
