Hi, I have done a search and can't find anything about this, I hope someone can help.

In our office we have recently changed to Outlook from OE.

The problem is, when mail is sent to us and has clearly been CCd to someone else also, but not BCC, we can't see who else it has been sent to. In our business this is crucial.

I hope someone can help, as I am getting grief from my boss. We are defo not being BCCd, just a normal CC.

Thanks

Fiona

Where are you looking that you can't see the CC data? In an open email or in
the Inbox? And while you're at it, which version?

In your Inbox, add the CC column/field this way:

turn on the Advanced toolbar

use the field chooser to drag the CC filed up beside the ones you can
already see (eg Subject)

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately I can't seem to get the CC to move up. It's 2003 version. I can't see who it has been sent to, other than ourselves, on either the preview pane, opened message or even when printed.

On the field menu it is on frequently-used fields, and I can see the CC that you are talking about, but I am unable to move this.

When you can see the field on the Field Chooser. Grab it with the mouse held
down, drag it and drop it beside the other fields (eg Subject). Two Red
arrows will appear when you are in a good spot to release it.

Can you start again to describe what your problem is? In your initial
post you claim that you can't see the CC addressees. Now you say that
you can see them, but not move them. Move them/this/what to where?

Brian - I did answer Judy's questions, please re-read my second post.

Judy - Thank you very much for your help. I tried again this morning, whilst in the Inbox panel, to move the CC in the Field Chooser, but still the CC would not move. I then had an idea to switch off the preview pane and tried again to move the CC - success!! I now have From, To and CC all viewed in the Inbox.

Thank you, again, very much for your help :)

The preview pane gets in the way on the right - if you like to use it, put
it on the bottom. View, Preview Pane, Bottom.

Have a play with the field chooser in other folders too - it's a very useful
way of showing fields you need to see. The next step is to also use the
Group By Box (left of the Field Chooser) and for example, in Tasks, drag the
Categories Field into the Group by Box Chooser. Or in Contacts drag the
State field into the Group By Box. You can then email a whole State of
Contacts by dragging the group heading to the sent items folder.
