incoming emails

Yesterday for some unknown reason my emails were listed differently - they
appeared in "From" order rather than date order. I have opened View, and find
that From is ticked (not by me) and I am not able to untick it. How do I get
back to having my incoming emails displayed in date order please.
 
Click on the 'sent' header, each click changes the order from latest first
to oldest first.
