Inbox Always Scrolls Up

When looking for a message in my Inbox, I'd scroll down and then Outlook
(2003 on WinXP) would automatically scroll me back to the top of the Inbox.
I tried the mouse wheel, pg up/down, and grabbing the slider itself, but it
keeps going up. After a reboot, it seems to work fine for a while, but then
it goes right back. Any ideas as to why this may be happening?

This is a long shot, but do you have Speech Recognition enabled and a
microphone turned on?

We don't have speech recognition turned on on our machines. I double checked
on this machine to confirm it as well.
