Matt

I just downloaded the new Catalyst(new for me anyways) 3.9
drivers for Win2kPro and before installing them I ran
Driver Cleaner/Cab Cleaner as the instructions that came
with the program said. When I restart, before the logo
comes up I get the blue screen that says ***STOP follow by
a bunch of numbers and then INACCESABLE_BOOT_DEVICE. After
restarting a few times, I can't get anything to come up,
no safe mode, nothing. Just the blue screen, it tells me
to run chdsk f/ or some such, but I am not able to do this
because I can't get into anything else. If anyone can give
me any help with this problem (the first one I haven't
been to fix myself) I would greatly appreciate it.
My e-mail is (e-mail address removed)

I would probably boot the machine into the Command Console
mode, using the Win2000 installation CD, then rename the file
SYSTEM to SYSTEM.BAD, and SYSTEM.ALT to SYSTEM.

The Thing is, I cannot get the machine to read any kind of
cd. Tried the wink2k cd and even XP, and no luck, it just
goes straight to the blue screen.

If it doesn't work, insert a windows 98 boot disk (floppy)
and boot from that, run chkdsk from there. Worth a try.

I can try the Win98 boot disk thing, but unfortunatly my
disk is not FAT32, I'm thinking I just want to start over
from scratch and install Windows XP but there is another
problem with that even, I cannot get it to read the
Windows XP cd.
