In Word how can I increase the size of my cursor?

In Word my cursor has suddenly become comma size. How can I return it to
larger than upper case letter sixe?
 
If this is Word 2003, then what you are seeing is a known issue. To work
around it, change the zoom to (say) 500% and then back.
