On my computer in my office, whenever I select a simple wizard either for a
query or form, the table/query names appear but no available fields display.
This is the case for all access databases I open on my computer.

When I open them on a different computer, all the fields are listed properly.

Is there some setting that I accidentally pressed to prevent the display of
fields? Please help, I've searched everywhere and cannot find an answer.

Thanks

Seems like an istallation problem with the wizards. Try a repair from the
setup from the cd, most of the times this will fix the problem.

Hi Sarah,

Have you tried the repair option? You can also try choosing the regular
setup and choose add options. Although the installation might went ok click
the options for the wizard again and run the install again. See if that helps.

Hi Maurice,

I tried it, it didn't work. Any other ideas? It had been working
previously, then suddenly stopped a few weeks ago.

Thanks,
Sarah

Sarah,

Is it just the forms wizard or aren't you able to create any reports with
the wizard either. If that's the case I think that a certain .dll might be
corrupt. Maybe an office update that wrecked it. Just for the info which
version are you using? Installed vista recently?

I'm having the same problem - but for me it seems to be the unmatched
query wizard that isn't displaying field names. I re-installed Office
completely but that didn't solve my problem. It's totally driving me
crazy!

it's all of the wizards (when you click to design using wizard) - they do not
show any fields available.
Did not do any updates - that particular comp is a network comp and not
connected to the internet - it's xp, and have office prof 2003

Thanks
Sarah
