in what directory can I find the macros i recorded

I recorded a new macro on my home laptop that I want to make available for
use by my employees at work. How do I find where it is located in a
directory, and then how do I copy it to a directory on the server that is
accessible for everyone in the office to use?

It will almost certainly be in normal.dot. To share it it needs to be in a
global template. Create a blank template and copy the code to it. You can
then provide the template as an add-in.
