In search of a Time Tracker

Hello everyone,

being fed up with not knowing how much time I was spending on each
task at work, I decided to search for some freeware tool that would
help me doing that. It didn´t take long before I ran into Allnetic
Working Time Tracker, which I find to be pretty much what I was looking
for... except for the fact that it isn´t freeware, at least not the
version available from the Allnetic site. From here
(http://www.dirfile.com/downloadnow_allnetic-working-time-tracker_freeware.html)
one would get the idea that an older freeware version of that tool is
available, but as soon as I start downloading it, I get version
2.0.1.242... which is payware.
My question is: does anyone know of a place where I can download the
freeware version of Allnetic Working Time Tracker or, as an
alternative, does anyone know of any other time tracking tool with the
same features (projects, tasks, child-tasks)?

Greetings and thanks in advance for any replys,
Jorge.

Is
http://www.fileplanet.com/84336/80000/fileinfo/AllNetic-Working-Time-Tracker
what you are looking for?
(but the site seems to require registration for sign-in - free but ad-supported)

AllNetic Working Time Tracker
Filename: wttrack.zip Author: CHMV Software
Size: 1.2 MB
Created: 1/30/2002 Updated: 6/6/2002
AllNetic Working Time Tracker
Tracks how much time you spend on different projects and tasks.
Thanks to precise time tracking and accounting you can quickly and precisely
calculate time spent on different tasks.
You can bill your clients on time based on real reports.
You can plan your working day better and be more effective in managing your time
as you see, where your time is gone.
The application doesn't occupy space on your desktop and is controlled from
System Tray.

Besides the registration, the site also seems to require a fee... As
for your other suggestion, like I said in my initial post, the link is
pointing to the payware version of the application.

Still, thanks for your suggestions.
Greetings,
