In MS Word, is there a way to have a document open to a specific location in
the document...every time you open that document?

You can set a bookmark at the desired place and then add a macro to go to
that bookmark, but the document will trigger a macro warning. If you just
want to go to the end of the document, use Ctrl+End. If you want to go to
the place where you were last editing, use Shift+F5.

I have a question related to this issue. I have a field late in the document
that I need to fill in before I start entering the first page's info. I
already changed the form field late in the document to have a bookmark of
"Text1" so it will tab correctly after that field, but it's still opening my
doc to a form field at the top of the first page (with bookmark "Text7").
How do I create the macro described earlier in this thread so that it will
automatically go to the correct spot on opening of the document?

Background info if you need it: I'm working on Word 2003, on a template
I've created (other than Normal.dot), which has form fields. This is for my
own use for transcribing, and I'm just trying to make entry as efficient as
possible. Thanks for any help you can provide!
