& in file path in Header/Footer

Trying to insert a pathname which includes a "&" symbol in
it into a header or footer of a spreadsheet changes the
pathname itself. Short of changing the directory names
(don't have those priveleges) how do we overcome this ?

Precede it with another &, that is &&
