In Explorer have the drive letter display first instead of the Ser

In Windows Explorer, or any OPEN file command dialong it would be nice to
have it display the mapped drive letter first instead at the end of the
servername and sharename path? We have very long servername and sharenames
and the user's on this network would prefer to see the drive letter (aka q
first instead of the UNC code and then the mapped drive letter. Any ideas?

As far as I know the only way to do this is to edit the registery. Be sure
to back up the registery first.
In regedit go to: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer,
edit or create the DWORD value "ShowDriveLettersFirst" and set it to the
desired value:

0 = Default display (drive letters after description)
1 = Network drive letters first, Local drive letters after
2 = Descriptions only, no drive letters displayed
4 = Drive letters before description

This worked for me, hope it works for you.
