In Calendar [Monday etc] the day of the week no longer shows

Without warning the calendar view [1, 5 and 7] stopped showing the day i.e.
Monday, 7th November and now only shows the date. I am not aware that i
changed any setting. Checking help does not explain how to correct issue.

Make sure your Long Date format includes the token for day name (dddd) in
the Regional Settings (there's a Control Panel applet for it)
