in 2007 how can i fix spell checker?

ive got the box checked to check spelling as you type and i have also pushed
F7 to do it manually.
 
I am having the sam issue too. The spell checker is not working in either
auto or manual mode.
 
By the Way... This is Office 2007 Trial
