Improving degraded gif quality

I made a movie using slides saved (gif) from Powerpoint. On the smaller mm2
screen on right, the pictures and font inserts are clear, but when I play on
full screen view the quality is significantly reduced. Is there anything I
can do to improve the quality? I also tried saving to jpeg but no
improvement. Thanks, Rick

It sound as if you are looking at the movie in preview mode.
When you save the movie (file->save movie file)
The quality should improve

Hope this helps

I often use Powerpoint to produce a picture on backgrounds with written
notations and such. Before you save the picture (as either jpg or gif) go
to 'file' and 'page setup'....set the page in Powerpoint to full size at 8.5
x 11. Then when you save the picture it will be of a high resolution. I
just did several to see the differences...and the one I made from the 8.5 x
11 size is 792 x 612.... it will be a good resolution as long as your
original pictures are of a decent quality. Good luck!
