Improved ATi Driver Download Site

Looks like AMD's common sense is rubbing off on its new subsidiary already:
http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

Not all pages have the frameless new look, but at least things are
improving.

The speed of this website when compared to the old ATITech.ca is
pitiful.

If anything I wish that they would improve the install instructions.
It gets especially hard when you also have an ATI TV Tuner card. Which
MMC version do you install, the latest for the video card or the
latest for the tuner?

I have just looked at the new website again and the speed is excellent
now and the problems I had with their frames are gone. I guess it was
a work in progress when I first looked at it. I found a couple of
missing pages but I guess that will be fixed soon too.

Of course uninstalling all their programs and then re-installing the
new programs is still a pain. First time I did this with a program
called PowerCinema. The upgrade halted because the old 3.0 was not
installed. I installed it again and then the first thing the
installer asked me was if it was okay to uninstall it. :)
