Importing to Outlook 2007

I had Outlook Express on an old computer. I copied all the files to a flash
drive (Contacts, Emails, etc.) I now have a new machine with Outlook 2007.
I'm having trouble importing my old information. Any suggestions?
 
Both Outlook Express (or Mail) needs to be configured with the msg store
before you can export to Outlook on the *same* PC
 
What does "configured with the msg store" mean?
