Importing single values from an Access database into a Word docume

I have an Access database containing a list of medical terms (diagnoses) and
associated codes and I would like to select individual diagnoses and insert
them into a medical report using Word. I would also like to keep an Access
list of how often each diagnostic term was used. Is this possible? I am using
Windows XP and Office 2003 and 2007. Thanks.

especially the second requirement indicates that you need to create the
reports in or at least from Access (or Access couldn't "know" anything
about the usage).

Best ask this in an Access newsgroup, the gurus there love to point out
that Word is their favorite database publishing "applet" anyway. :-)
