What type of address file and from which application?

What is the extension of the file?

Generally you should be able to export from that application as a *.CSV file or
similar and import to Excel.

If from Outlook or Outlook Express it should be easily exported to Excel.

When I tried to look at the file extention all it tells me is "address book
file" I tried to find an extention but no luck. I belive that it used to be
an outlook address book, its open and operational, just not attached to
outlook. I dont know if that makes sense.

The three-letter extension is what we're after.

Do any of your files show extensions or do you have those hidden in My
Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View>Files and Folder section?

If you want to send it to me, I'll have a look.

Change the AT and DOT for my email.
