Importing .pab file into Outlook 2007, the options regarding dupli

When importing .pab file into Outlook 2007, the options regarding duplicate
entries is grayed out and cannot be changed. How can I import the .pab
without duplicating entries?
 
Probably not. Outlook 2007 is the first version with no support for PAB
files. Be grateful you can even still import them. I know of no one else who
still has any PAB files or has tried the import feature.
 
I am not personally using a .pab file. I provide technical support. I am
sure there are other some stragglers out there using .pab files, they have
just not upgraded to the wonderful Office 07 yet. At least MS was thoughtful
enough to allow the import even if it does duplicate entries.

Fortunately by now most users seem to have heeded the warnings to migrate
that have been out there for 7 years. I'm not so sure the option to prevent
dupes ever worked that well anyway. Most users have found the need to run a
dupe checker any time they import into Outlook.
