importing music question

I've figured out that i have to convert real music files and to make sure the
copies I rip aren't "protected." So I've re-ripped the songs I want using
Windows Media Player. Now the problem is that I can find the songs in the WMP
media library, but not in My Documents/My Music. How do I get files from
WMP's media library to Movie Maker (or how do I get music files from WMP's
media libary to My Documents/My Music)?

Thanks

Re-ripped? Maybe I don't even understand
the question but I'll offer my ideas....

Are any files in your My Music folder?
The reason I ask is because you might
find something like:

Unknown Artist / Unknown Album /
01 Track 1.wma
02 Track 2.wma
etc...

or...
01 Track 1.mp3
01 Track 1.mp3
etc...

These would be your ripped files.

Also, if you open WMP and go to
Tools / Options / Rip Music tab...
you can choose the save location,
and the format of the saved files.

IMHO dont we use a basic computer skill, either that of doing a global search
of your C drive with something as .WMP or .WAV as the criteria?
That gets them ALL. Then the other skill, of Drag and Drop, to wherever you
want them..... and if you want copies in two places..... etc
