Importing Messages into OE 6

I have changed computers and I am trying to import messages and an address
book from another computer into my current one. Both have OE6.
However, the new computer isn't recognizing the files at the location I
have saved them to. I'm exporting them to a SD card to move them.
The other computer is running Windows 98, and the new one is Windows XP.
Is this the problem ??
